Age Requirement: You must be 13 years or older to use Couple Cents.
Users must create an account to access the App and store their financial data.
Account sharing is strictly prohibited. Each user must have their own login credentials. We offer optional two-factor authentication, and we encourage you to enable it.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
Couple Cents offers a premium subscription at $5/month or $50/year, available as an in-app purchase via Apple and Google Play.
Payments & Renewals: All transactions are processed through Apple and Google's respective platforms.
Refunds & Cancellations: Users must manage their subscriptions through Apple or Google. Couple Cents does not handle refunds directly.
When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted.
We use Supabase for database management, Plaid for bank account connections, and Google AdMob for advertisements. Apple and Google handle platform analytics.
Our Privacy Policy details how we collect and use your data. By using the App, you consent to our data practices.
Couple Cents does not provide financial advice. It displays user-inputted and bank-synced financial data for budgeting and organization purposes.
We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on data entered into or displayed by the App.
Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of manually entered data. Bank-synced balances reflect what Plaid reports at time of sync and may not be real-time.
Couple Cents is provided on an "as-is" basis. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of financial data displayed in the App.
We are not liable for financial losses resulting from incorrect data, whether user-entered or bank-synced.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Couple Cents disclaims all liability for damages arising from the use of the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Users can delete their accounts at any time, which will result in the permanent deletion of all stored data.
Any disputes or claims shall be handled in accordance with applicable laws.
Users agree to resolve disputes through informal negotiation first, before pursuing legal action.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Users will be notified of changes via an in-app pop-up. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of New York State, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
By using Couple Cents, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
